This video describes a technique developed by Scientists at Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) through which we can replace the use of wood in furniture and protect our forests. They described how natural fibres such as Coconut, Banana and Jute fibres can be used to create a composite fibre called as 'polycoir' which can serve as an alternative to wood.
