Solving Quadratic Equations by Factoring Method | Simple tricks | Letstute

Mathematics · Class 9, Class 10

In this session we have seen what exactly Quadratic equation mean. A quadratic equation in the variable 'x' is of the form ax2 + bx + c = 0, where a, b, c are real numbers and a is not equal to zero. There are 3 methods of solving Quadratic equations, 1. Factorization method 2. Completing the square method 3. Formula method. In Factorization Method, the most important step is finding the two correct numbers that helps us in splitting the middle term and eventually helps in getting the roots i.e. solutions of the quadratic equation. Factorization is one of the simplest form to solve the quadratic equations.
