Enlist 5 friends for this TACtivity. Select a food chain with four components and assign components of the food chain to four people in the group and designate them by pasting a label on their shirt. The last person becomes the Sun. Let the group stand in a circle. The sun starts the food chain by holding the open end of a wool ball and throwing the ball to the first component of the food chain. The first component holds the wool and throws the ball to the next and so on. This creates a food cycle. Now choose another food chain with some common elements and repeat the above with a different coloured woolen ball. See the food web develop.
