Pick small samples(4 to 5 grains) of food items from home - rice, corn, groundnut, pulses, wheat, carrot, etc. and cook them at home. 1. Crush each of them on a white paper and check after drying if the paper became transparent. 2. Mix the food item with given ethanol. Filter it in a transparent plastic bottle and add water.
