Cut a thin plastic sheet into a circle and attach 8 cotton threads to the plastic. Join the 8 threads and attach some weight to make the parachute. Make another parachute with same thread length and same weight but, larger surface area of plastic. Compare the two parachutes - which one touches the floor first?
