In essence a centrifugal pump, this simple model is made by inserting a skewer midway through a straw and then making slits in the straw such that it may be folded into a triangle and stuck with tape on to the skewer. When this is partially submerged and twirled in water, a beautiful sprinkle emerges from the slits in the straw.
